Our Services

Land development is changing untouched or unused land in to a usable site for homes, businesses, or public needs. Clearing trees, brush, and debris allows for the next level of groundwork and land use planning to occur.

Land Development

The early work or preparation done before a bigger task or project helps create a solid base or foundation so that future actions can succeed. Whether it's clearing an area of trees, roots, and rocks to be prepped for a building, or grading and packing a driveway to be gravelled or asphalted, we have the equipment to do it all!

Groundwork & Site Preparation

There are many ways to clear land, with hand clearing being the least invasive, and mulching being one of the quickest. Clearing is required for private and commercial construction, developing and expanding agricultural land, or expanding paddocks for livestock. Logging companies don't often clean up the mess left behind, so land clearing contractors have to be hired to remove the logging slash (the leftover tree branches, tops, unmerchantable logs, bark, and debris left on the forest floor).

Land Clearing & Logging Cleanup

Involves the planning, building, and maintenance of designated paths for hiking, biking, horseback riding, off-roading. Creating new trails involves careful planning for safety and erosion, site assessment for terrain, marking the path (avoiding straight lines), clearing obstacles with chainsaws and mulchers, and equipment like skidsteers and excavators for heavier work and GPS for mapping, focusing on using natural contours and well-drained areas to minimize impact

Excavator Services

Dense thickets of forest terrain that once would have burned along the ground and left trees intact, is now leaping from the ground up. The thicker brush serves as a ladder up to the top canopies of trees. This devastation could be managed by removing some trees, thinning the brush, and scaling back some of the older growth that is turning our wooded areas into tinder boxes during dry spells. Keep your utility lines and homes clear of overhanging and old or dying trees. Don't take the risk!

Forest Fire & Storm Mitigation

Before power, gas, and telephone lines, or cell phone towers can be installed, the property access and utility right-of-ways need to be cleared. In order for an oil & gas lease to be developed, road and pipeline right-of-ways need to be cleared. Utility lines need to be accessible, don't let them get overgrown! Trees are mulched, brush is mowed, and the land is graded to allow for safe access.

Utility Right-of-Way Clearing

Land reclamation is the process of turning disturbed land in to its former state, or another desired use. It can bring beauty back to nature, and add value to a property. Any property can be reclaimed, whether it's overgrown land being turned in to a golf course or an acreage for a new home, or a commercial building and parking lot being demolished to be put back to its natural state.

Land Reclamation

Tree & forestry mulching is a land clearing method that uses a single machine to cut, grind, and clear vegetation. Mulching can selectively cut and process vegetation efficiently. It removes trees and underbrush, while putting organic matter back on the ground. This time-saving technique can clear acres in half the time. Best suited for large rural areas.

The BrushCat, or "bush hog",  is used to cut tall grass, weeds, brush, shrubs and woody material, underbrush, and deadfall. Clearing brush is important in maintaining healthy forest growth, allowing land to be accessed, and preventing problems such as rodent infestations or forest fires.

Brush Mowing

Landscape Tillers use high-strength hardened steel tines to break up soil and mix soil types for optimum performance in a variety of landscaping tasks. Tilling is great for developing a large garden, fixing up an unsightly yard before re-seeding, or changing the use of land to accommodate livestock or small crops on acreages & farms. Have a driveway with poor drainage that needs to be rebuilt? Get it tilled and start from scratch!
